Purpose of the Award
The purpose of the Kyoto University GSM SDGs Leadership Award is to identify and cultivate SDG-related project and research activities promoted by graduate students and graduates at the Kyoto University GSM.

Application Guidelines (English)
Outline
Target Activities
SDG-related practical and research activities undertaken by students and graduates of the Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University (GSM) will be considered. Both for-profit and non-profit activities are acceptable. Both individual and group applications are acceptable.
Application Categories
(A)SDGs Project Award
Target Activities: Projects related to the SDGs (Business, Educational Activities, etc.)
(B)SDGs Research Award
Target Activities: Research projects related to the SDGs.

Special Awards and obligations
We are preparing the following awards. Each of them will be awarded up to 150,000 yen per project as a supplementary prize.
(1)SDGs Project Award
Outstanding project(s) will be selected from among the entries to the “SDGs Project Category”
(2)SDGs Research Award
Outstanding research(es) will be selected from among the entries to the “SDGs Research Category”
(3)SDGs Special Prize (Mizuho Securities Endowment Award, Global Social Entrepreneurship Award)
Outstanding activities across both categories will be selected. (2 activities will be selected)

Request for “Recommendations” in the Research Category
- ● “We are currently accepting “recommendations” for the “SDGs Research Category” to solicit applications.”
- ● If you have any information that you think this person’s research may fit the purpose of the SDG Leadership Award, please submit your information using the form below.
- ● After receiving a “recommendation,” the organizing committee will contact the individual to confirm their intention to enter the awards. Once the individual submits their application documents, the entry will be formally completed.

Selection Process
(A)SDGs Project Award
After the application documents are submitted and reviewed by the selection committee members, successful applicants will be asked to submit a “presentation video” (5 to 10 min.) for the 2nd Stage Review. The details of the 2nd Stage Review will be notified to those who pass the 1st Stage Review.
(B)SDGs Research Award
After the application documents are submitted, the award winners will be selected based on a document review by the selection committee members.
